Takahiro Ikeda started working at FPU from 2009.

Courses
1. Health, exercise and sports: This is a class for first-year students. The class emphasizes the importance of exercise and sports for health.
2. Physical education for preschool children: This class focuses on physical education for preschool children, covering the significance of play and the methodology of research in this field.
3. Graduation thesis: In the 4th-year, students are required to do a piece of original research and write a graduation thesis.
Academic Interests
1. Development and gender differences in terms of physical fitness and motor ability in early childhood.

2. Factors influencing growth and development in preschool children.

3. The testing and measuring of physical fitness and motor ability through sports statistics.
